Reiki & Reflexology Complementary energy and bodywork modalities offered as standalone sessions or integrated into your care plan.

Reiki

Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy healing practice that supports the body's natural ability to restore balance and promote healing. During a session, light touch or hands hovering just above the body is used to facilitate the flow of energy, releasing blockages and encouraging a state of deep relaxation.

Reiki is appropriate for people of all ages — from children to older adults — and is particularly supportive for those experiencing:

  • Stress, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm

  • Cancer treatment side effects such as fatigue, nausea, or pain

  • Grief and loss

  • Difficulty sleeping

  • The need for quiet, restorative care during a difficult season of life

Sessions are deeply calming and require nothing from you except a willingness to rest. Many clients describe feeling a profound sense of peace, warmth, and ease during and after treatment.

As a Reiki Master Teacher and Trainer, I bring both extensive training and a clinical lens to this work — integrating Reiki into a whole-person approach to care when appropriate, or offering it as a standalone session.

Reiki is a complement to — not a replacement for — conventional medical treatment.

Reflexology

Reflexology is a type of holistic therapy that involves applying pressure to specific points on your feet, hands, or ears. The idea is that these points connect to different parts of your body. By pressing on them, practitioners hope to help you feel better overall.

Key Points About Reflexology:

  1. Connection Points: Reflexology is based on the belief that certain areas on your feet and hands relate to specific organs or systems in your body. For example, a spot on your foot might be linked to your stomach.

  2. Techniques: Practitioners use different methods to apply pressure, like using their thumbs or fingers. They might press gently or firmly, depending on what feels comfortable for you.

  3. Benefits: Many people try reflexology to reduce stress, improve blood flow, relieve pain, and help them relax. It’s often used along with other treatments.

  4. What to Expect: A typical session lasts about 30 to 60 minutes. You usually lie down or sit comfortably while the practitioner works on your feet or hands. Most people find it soothing.

  5. Personal Touch: Reflexologists may change their techniques based on what you need and any health concerns you have.
